Van Buren has recently been named a proud recipient of a Downtown Revitalization Grant, totaling close to $860,000. This money will be put into use between May '07 -October '08. This is a very exciting time for this small Acadian town, which will be undergoing many changes within the next couple of years. This is part of Van Buren's commitment to restoring itself to it's once prosperous and booming self, for today, and future generations to come.
